What are the cultivation methods and precautions for Pinguo Funiang?
1. Temperature
The most suitable temperature for cultivating it is 15°C to 25°C. In summer, when the temperature is higher, in addition to placing it in a cooler place, you can also use a small low-speed electric fan to cool it down. If the temperature rises to 35°C, the plant will stop growing. In winter, the temperature should be controlled between 15°C and minus 2°C. However, if it is maintained outdoors in winter, the temperature cannot be lower than 5°C.
2. Water
If the temperature rises to 35°C in summer, watering can be reduced. If watering at this time, the time should be chosen between 19:00 and 21:00; when the temperature drops to 5°C in winter, watering can be paused. At other times, keep the flower soil slightly moist, and never allow water accumulation, let alone leave the flower soil in an overly humid state for a long time.
3. Nutrients
Its demand for nutrients is not high. Just add fertilizer once a month during its growing period.
4. Ventilation
A well-ventilated environment can not only prevent the breeding of some diseases, but is also very beneficial to its growth, especially during the hot and stuffy high temperatures in summer.
5. Light
The growing period of this plant is from September to June of the following year. During this period, if there is too little light, it is very easy for the plant to become leggy, causing the plant as a whole to become very loose, and the leaves and stems will also become very fragile. At other times, appropriate light can also be given to ensure that it can grow normally.
