Besides pork, the meats we usually eat most are chicken, duck and fish. Well, we will leave chicken and duck aside for today, and focus mainly on how to cook and eat fish. In fact, the nutritional value of fish is very high, but the fish we usually eat are also very limited. So what is the Qian fish? How much does the Qian fish cost per jin? How do you cook it deliciously?

What is the Qian fish

The Qian fish, namely Zhou's Qian ichthyosaur, is a small to medium-sized ichthyosaur with a body length of 2-3 m. Compared with other ichthyosaurs, this ichthyosaur has a shorter snout, accounting for only 55% of the head. The orbit is round, accounting for 40% of the head. The cheek region is extremely narrow. The teeth are conical, with no longitudinal ornamentation on the surface. The dorsal spine curves upward, and the middle and rear parts of the tail bend noticeably downward. The forelimbs are slender and paddle-shaped, while the hindlimbs are thick and short.

The Qian fish looks very much like the catfish. The differences lie in the number of barbels, the shape of the tail and dorsal fin, and whether there are small fins behind the dorsal fin. These can preliminarily determine whether they are the same kind of fish or fish that are very closely related in classification.
