Crucian carp, abbreviated as crucian, commonly known as crucian melon seed, moon crucian fry, earth crucian, small head, fu fish, cold fu, xi head, crucian shell, river crucian. It is a common freshwater fish. Through artificial breeding and selective breeding, crucian carp can produce many new varieties; for example, the goldfish is one ornamental fish species that originated from it. So what are the benefits and effects of crucian carp? Do you know crucian carp farming techniques?
I. Benefits and effects of crucian carp
1. Enhances disease resistance. A good protein source for patients with liver and kidney diseases and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Regular consumption can enhance disease resistance. II. Crucian carp farming techniques
1. Extensive farming technique
Extensive farming of white crucian carp is based on the pond's productivity with an appropriate amount of seedlings stocked, without fertilizing or feeding. After 1 to 3 years, marketable fish are harvested. Generally, pond output reaches 100 to 200 kg/hectare, and many ponds reach 400 to 500 kg/hectare.
2. Fertilization farming technique
In storage ponds with no inflow of organic fertilizer, few nutrient elements, and high transparency, fertilization is used to promote the reproduction of plankton, which is used as feed to farm white crucian carp. By applying 95 kg of ammonium nitrate and 16 kg of superphosphate per hectare and stocking 118 kg of white crucian carp seedlings, the annual output can reach 500 kg/hectare. If 3.5 tons of dried chicken manure is applied per hectare and 125 kg of white crucian carp seedlings are stocked, the annual output has reached 820 kg/hectare.
3. Feeding farming technique
In storage ponds rich in nutrient elements, by stocking 190 kg of white crucian carp seedlings per hectare and feeding 75 kg of silkworm pupae, 230 kg of wheat bran, and 160 kg of rice bran, the output of white crucian carp has reached 1900 kg/hectare, carp 230 kg/hectare, and gnathopogon fish and shrimp 80 kg/hectare, with a total output of 2210 kg/hectare. In storage ponds with no inflow of organic fertilizer and lacking nutrient elements, by stocking 60 kg of white crucian carp seedlings per hectare and feeding 600 kg of silkworm pupae and 600 kg of wheat bran, the output of white crucian carp can reach 600 kg/hectare, carp and gnathopogon fishes 150 kg/hectare, with a total output of 750 kg/hectare.
4. Fertilization and feeding farming
In a pond stocked with 375 kg of white crucian carp seedlings and 50 kg of carp seedlings per hectare, and then supplied with 10 tons of soy sauce residue and 4 tons of silkworm pupae, the output of white crucian carp can reach 3300 kg/hectare and carp 500 kg/hectare. In a pond supplied with 310 kg of white crucian carp seedlings and 60 kg of carp seedlings per hectare, applying 300 kg of chicken manure, and feeding 600 kg of silkworm pupae, 4 tons of rice bran, and 300 kg of compound feed, the output of white crucian carp has reached 1900 kg/hectare and carp 1300 kg/hectare.
