How to Grow and Care for the Tree Chrysanthemum
For the soil, woodland soil, manure soil, lime powder, etc. can be mixed in a 3:1:1 ratio. During the seedling stage, fertilized water is needed once a week, and water must not accumulate in the pot; after the Start of Autumn, watering should be properly controlled, and a small amount of phosphorus-potassium fertilizer solution should be sprayed once every 7-10 days. Place the tree chrysanthemum in a sunny spot and keep the temperature at 10-25°C.
1. Soil conditions
The soil quality is key. Woodland soil, manure soil, lime powder, etc. can be mixed in a 3:1:1 ratio. Make sure the flower pot has good drainage, add an appropriate amount of water, and remember not to add too much.
2. Watering and fertilizing
During the seedling stage, the tree chrysanthemum needs fertilized water once a week; do not let water accumulate in the flower pot. After flower buds appear, the frequency of watering must be controlled; after the Start of Autumn, watering should be properly controlled, and watering about once every two days is sufficient. In spring and summer, keep it to once a day, and spray a small amount of phosphorus-potassium fertilizer solution once every 7-10 days.
3. Light and temperature
The tree chrysanthemum likes sunny places and grows best at 10-25°C. When sunlight is less than 5 hours, differentiation will occur when the tree chrysanthemum sprouts. It is best to maintain sufficient sunlight every day to promote the growth and development of stems and buds.
