If the temperature is not high, you can place the hairy crabs in a deep bucket with smooth inner walls (they must not be stacked). Notes on hairy crab farming:

1. Area

A farming site with a large area is more favorable for the growth of hairy crabs, but if the area is too large, it will place a relatively big burden on the management of the hairy crabs. Therefore, within a scientific range, choose a relatively large area. Under conditions of 50-100 mu of land, stock 2000-3000 crabs per mu. In addition, in the pond, you can also choose to stock some grass carp, silver carp and other fish to help increase the biodiversity of the pond.

2. Food

For feeding hairy crabs, generally natural feed is chosen as the main feed, which can be small trash fish, and then appropriately adding some artificial feed is enough. Feeding times are: before early July, once in the morning and once in the evening; from mid-July to the end of August, feed once every other day, in the evening; from early September to early November, feed once a day, in the evening.

3. Daily management

Inspect in the morning and evening to observe the young crabs' feeding, activity, molting, water quality changes and other conditions, and take timely measures if any abnormality is found. In addition, when adding water during rain, strictly prevent the young crabs from swimming against the water and escaping, and set up rat-proof nets and rat-catching devices around the pond to prevent rats from preying on the young crabs.

Although the best season for eating hairy crabs has not yet arrived, it is still worth learning about the storage methods.
