Cost and Profit Analysis of Centipede Farming
Centipede farming is simple, takes up little space, requires little feed, and the cost is not high. Pure profit per batch: 72000-3252.64=68747.36 (yuan); the above profit is calculated per batch. If calculated on the basis of 4 indoor breeding cycles per batch per year, then the annual profit is: 68747.36 yuan×4=274989.44 yuan. Farming centipedes is a low-cost, high-return project.
Centipede farming is simple, takes up little space, requires little feed, and the cost is not high.
The feed sources are very wide-ranging. Generally, animal offal, green vegetables, melons and fruit, and scraps from vegetable markets, restaurants and kitchens can all be used, and the cost is low. Now, taking the yellow mealworm provided by our company as an example, 3 kg of rice bran raises 1 kg of yellow mealworms. Rice bran is 1.2 yuan per kg, so 3 kg costs 3.6 yuan. 600 breeder centipedes eat an average of 60 g of yellow mealworms per day, totaling 0.216 yuan.
1. Feeding cost per batch of breeders: 0.216 yuan×90 days=19.44 yuan;
2. Feeding cost of 36000 larvae (the total food intake of larvae is less than 1/2 that of the breeders): 19.44 yuan×60 times×0.5=583.2 yuan;
3. Labor cost (1 hour of work per day): 10 yuan per working hour×90 days=900 yuan;
4. (Seed introduction cost 10800 yuan - breeders valued at the commercial insect selling price of 1200 yuan after 8 breeding cycles)÷8=1200 yuan;
5. Farming construction cost 500 yuan;
6. Drug and disinfection cost 50 yuan; comprehensive cost per batch: 19.44+583.2+900+1200+500+50=3252.64 (yuan);
Pure profit per batch: 72000-3252.64=68747.36 (yuan); the above profit is calculated per batch. If calculated on the basis of 4 indoor breeding cycles per batch per year, then the annual profit is: 68747.36 yuan×4=274989.44 yuan.
It can be seen that farming centipedes is a low-cost, high-return project
