What do wild frogs and farmed frogs eat?

1. Under wild conditions, they are used to catching flying insects. Common frogs eat insects, worms, and so on, including flies, mosquitoes, locusts, mole crickets, green caterpillars, earthworms, and others. Frogs only eat things that move. When it is eating, do not let it see you, otherwise it will not eat. You need to tie up the worm and feed it like fishing. When feeding it, the worm needs to jump again and again until it eats. The food of young frogs is mainly mosquitoes, small insects, and insect larvae, and so on.

2. Farmed frogs

Young frogs mainly have earthworms, fly maggots, small fish and shrimp, insects, snails, and loaches, and so on; “dead bait” refers to dried silkworm pupae, animal offal, compound feed, and so on.

Adult frogs mainly eat artificially cultured live bait with high protein and high reproduction rates, such as fly maggots, earthworms, bloodworms, and chlorella water fleas. When live bait is insufficient, mixed feed can be used as a supplement, such as 60% rapeseed cake (powdered), 30% rice bran (or wheat bran), 5% soybean powder, and 5% fish meal mixed evenly, which has a relatively good effect. Tadpoles are active in the water, and after 5 days they can be given concentrated feed, including soybean milk, egg yolk, water fleas, water spinach, tomatoes, and aquatic plankton.

The above is the relevant introduction to what farmed frogs eat. I hope it is helpful to everyone.
