How do you raise a parrot so it will talk? Master these training methods
It is well known that parrots can talk. Birds that can learn human speech are first of all species that are good at imitating the calls of other birds and are themselves good singers, and secondly have a relatively large mouth with a fleshy, soft, short and round tongue. In addition, they also have the characteristics of being docile and easy to tame and not shy. So how do you raise a parrot so it will talk?
(1) Time: Early morning is best, because birds are most active in their calling in the early morning, and at this time the bird has not yet eaten its fill, so the teaching effect is better.
(2) Environment: It must be quiet, with no clamor or talking, otherwise it is easy to distract the bird and it will also learn sounds it should not learn. Therefore it is best to choose a quiet indoor place for teaching.
(3) Content: At the beginning, choose simple short sentences, such as “hello”, “welcome——welcome”, etc. When teaching, the pronunciation must be clear and not vague, and the pronunciation should be slower, not too hurried. Repeat the same sentence to the bird every day, and there should be no changes. Playing it with a recorder will have a better effect and is also less tiring. Generally, a sentence can be learned after about a week of teaching. After it can say it, consolidate it for a few more days, then teach the second sentence. If teaching starts after autumn, by March to April of the following year it can already learn a set of sentences. If the bird responds relatively quickly, it can also be taught simple rhymes.
