2. Reasonable feeding

Rice flower fish generally feed on biogas residue and green organic matter, but many farmers, when farming them, think that the greater the fertility of the water, the better, so they directly pour undecomposed farmyard manure into the field. In fact, this not only affects the growth of the fish, but the undecomposed fertilizer also burns the rice, leading to a decline in rice yield.

3. Farming management techniques

Spraying insecticides at the right time: rice is harmed by many diseases and pests during its growth, so when spraying insecticides and fungicides, pay attention to the timing. Generally, it is best to spray insecticides one week before stocking the fry, and apply an appropriate amount of chemical fertilizer. If the pest infestation is severe, then also pay attention to the use of insecticides, and do not use highly toxic insecticides.

Water level requirements: generally, a water pit can be dug in a low-lying part of the rice paddy. When the water level in the paddy drops or the water becomes scarce, the fish can swim into the pit to avoid direct sun exposure and to replenish water.

Bait feeding requirements: although the fish can feed on weeds and other substances in the rice paddy, if you want to ensure healthy growth of the fish, you should also regularly put in some fish bait, and then observe the growth of the fish at fixed times every day to prevent abnormal situations and make timely handling easier.
