What are the feed formulas for raising pigs with distiller's grains?
There are many kinds of pig feed, and now some people also want to use distiller's grains as the main ingredient of feed for raising pigs. What are the distiller's grains pig feed formulas?
1. Distiller's grains pig feed formulas
1. Pigs weighing 10-20 kg
Distiller's grains 50% + corn 10% + wheat bran 10% (peanut cake or soybean cake 5%) + straw powder 20% + pine needle powder 6% + bone meal and fish meal 1 jin each + superphosphate 1% + methionine 0.05% + lysine 0.15% + salt 0.7% + growth promoter 0.1% + oxytetracycline 20 tablets + biochemical enzyme 0.3%.
2. Pigs weighing 20-35 kg
Distiller's grains 60% + cassava flour (or corn flour) 5% + straw powder 20% + wheat bran 10.7% + pine needle powder 6% + bone meal 1 jin each + superphosphate 1% + salt 0.7% + lysine 0.15% + methionine 0.15% + methionine 0.05% + growth promoter 0.1% + peanut cake 1% + oxytetracycline 20 tablets + biochemical enzyme 0.3%.
3. Pigs weighing 35-60 kg
Distiller's grains 60% + corn 5% + straw powder 20% + wheat bran 5% + pine needle powder 5.7% + superphosphate 1% + salt 0.7% + lysine 0.15% + growth promoter 0.1% + peanut cake 2% + biochemical enzyme 0.#% + oxytetracycline tablets 20 tablets.
4. Pigs weighing 60-90 kg
Distiller's grains 50% + rice (or corn) 10% + wheat bran 10% + straw powder 12.7% + peanut cake (soybean cake) 5% + pine needle powder 10% + salt 0.7% + superphosphate 1% + growth promoter 0.1% + lysine 0.15% + methionine 0.05% + oxytetracycline tablets 20 tablets + biochemical enzyme 0.3%.
2. Precautions for raising pigs with distiller's grains
Distiller's grains are a byproduct of brewing, and their nutritional value varies with the raw material. Because the starch in the raw material has become alcohol, the nitrogen-free extract is relatively low, while the protein content is relatively increased, but the protein quality is poor. Distiller's grains contain more B vitamins, but lack carotene, vitamin D and calcium, and retain some alcohol. Therefore, when feeding pigs with distiller's grains, the following points must be noted:
1. Piglets, late-gestation sows and lactating sows should not be fed too much, to avoid adverse consequences such as miscarriage, stillbirth, deformed fetuses, weak fetuses and piglet diarrhea in sows.
2. The feeding amount of distiller's grains must be controlled. Generally, fresh distiller's grains should not exceed 25%, and dry distiller's grains should be controlled below 10%, to avoid constipation.
3. Distiller's grains cannot be used to feed pigs directly; they must be heated before feeding so that the alcohol evaporates.
4. After feeding pigs with distiller's grains for a period, feeding should be stopped for 7-10 days before resuming, to prevent chronic alcohol poisoning.
5. Distiller's grains that cannot be fed all at once should be thoroughly trampled down and stored in a pit or on a cement floor. The moldy, caked and spoiled part on the surface cannot be fed to pigs.
Using distiller's grains as feed is now fairly common in rural areas, but they must be well fermented before use.
