The Princess Rabbit is cute and pretty in appearance, with fur that is slightly yellowish and ears that stand straight up; it is a common pet rabbit. So, how do you raise a Princess Rabbit?

1. How to raise a Princess Rabbit?

When raising a Dutch rabbit, the hutch temperature should be 25-30°C and the relative humidity should be kept at 40-60%; the feed trough and water trough should be disinfected regularly and kept clean and hygienic, and the droppings should be cleaned up and the area swept every week. When feeding the rabbit, it is best to give it some tender grass and tender vegetable leaves, and then provide some clean cool boiled water each day. After it has grown for 3 months, feed it more green fodder. In addition, measures against dampness, heat and severe cold should also be taken.

2. Precautions for raising a Princess Rabbit

1. Sunlight and ventilation

Do not place the rabbit hutch where direct sunlight can reach it. Being able to get sun in late autumn, winter and early spring is certainly good, but it is not suitable in the other seasons, as heatstroke may occur. It should be placed in a place that can be ventilated, but not in a draft; a position where the wind blows directly on it is not suitable.

2. Temperature and humidity

Consider arranging a position for the rabbit hutch that is relatively warm in winter and relatively ventilated and cool in summer. It must be dry; damp positions, such as toilets, and especially positions where rain can blow in, are not suitable, as they will breed disease!

3. The environment must be clean

The environment must be swept clean, with no dust. Corners that cannot be cleaned, such as under a bed stuffed with clutter, must be off-limits to the rabbit. This is not only to keep the rabbit's body clean, but also to prevent disease.

4. Distance from the air conditioner

The position of the rabbit hutch should be far away from the air conditioner outlet. The large temperature difference caused the moment the air conditioner is switched on or off will make the rabbit ill, especially with a cold.

5. Not suitable for a balcony

Even if the windows are sealed, the temperature on a balcony is still colder than indoors in winter and much hotter than indoors in summer. Unless the window sealing can be done very well, there is no such problem.

The Princess Rabbit is very easy to raise, with better survival ability than other pet rabbits, and after being kept for a period of time it will also develop affection for people.
