1. Choose the aquarium size according to the number and size of the fish; if conditions permit, you can use an aquarium tank. It is best to install an oxygen pump in it. When keeping Black Dragon Eyes, you need to pay attention to the oxygen situation. The level of dissolved oxygen not only directly affects the respiration of the Dragon Eye, but also affects the Dragon Eye's appetite, digestion and absorption capacity, and ultimately affects its growth and development.
In water that is fresh and rich in dissolved oxygen, the Dragon Eye has a strong appetite, good digestion and absorption, fast growth and development, bright colors, and is lively and cute. Conversely, in water with deteriorated quality and very low dissolved oxygen, the Dragon Eye will often float to the surface to swallow air, from which it obtains a small amount of oxygen to temporarily sustain life. It generally shows poor appetite, dull body color, a thin and weak body, and sluggish movement, thereby reducing its ornamental value. 2. Change the water regularly. A small tank can be changed every day, while a large tank can be changed once a week in hot weather and once every two weeks in winter. The tap water used should be left to stand for 2-3 days to remove chlorine. The water temperature for keeping them can be maintained between 10-28°C.
