White shrimp are shrimp that live in temperate, tropical and freshwater environments, most of them with high economic value, and they are found along the coast and in the lakes of China. So how do you farm white shrimp?

1. Feed

Feeding should follow the principle of “fixed timing and fixed quantity, fixed location and fixed quality, small amounts given frequently, with specific adjustments”. Set up three to four feeding trays in the pond. For the first half month, feed four times a day with eggs, peanut bran, small fish and the like. After half a month, feed three times a day.

2. Water quality

Add crude salt to the pond before releasing the fry, and add an appropriate amount of crude salt later on as well. Keep the water level at 50 cm within one week after the shrimp fry are stocked, then increase it by 5 cm per day until the water depth reaches about 160 cm. Replace 20% of the water every 4-5 days, and add an appropriate amount of quicklime every 10 to 15 days.

3. Records

To ensure the normal growth of the white shrimp in the later stage, keep good daily records, such as: feed type, quantity, water temperature, water level and so on.

White shrimp are rich in magnesium, which plays an important role in regulating heart activity and also protects the cardiovascular system well.
