How to Raise a White Rabbit? Detailed Guide to Feeding Methods and Precautions
The white rabbit is a type of rabbit, with an all-white body and generally transparent eyes, and was regarded as a mascot in ancient times. So how do you raise a white rabbit?
1. Environment
Rabbits are timid by nature and can keenly detect the slightest noise. During feeding and management, movements should be gentle and steady, the environment around the rabbit hutch should be kept quiet, and you should try not to disturb the rabbits while they sleep.
2. Feeding
Feeding should be based mainly on feed, supplemented with grass. Never feed only one type of feed. In addition, when feeding green grass, note that feed and forage that is wet, spoiled, contaminated with odors, treated with pesticides, washed and frozen must not be fed.
3. Disinfection
Rabbits like a clean and dry environment, so the cage and utensils must be cleaned every day; disinfect regularly, clean and replace the bedding frequently, and promptly remove the droppings they produce.
What is generally sold in pet stores is the domestic rabbit, improved from the wild European rabbit through selective breeding. There are many breeds of rabbits, and the one most familiar to the public is the Japanese White breed.
