So, how do you grow Marcus succulent?
1. How to Grow Marcus Succulent
1. Suitable environment
The Marcus succulent prefers a warm, dry, well-ventilated environment with plenty of sunlight. Marcus is cold-tolerant, drought-tolerant and shade-tolerant. The suitable growing temperature for Marcus succulent is 15-25 degrees.
2. Soil requirements
The potting soil for Marcus succulent should mainly be loose, breathable loam with good drainage, so the potting soil can be made from a mix of peat and granular pumice, and then clean river sand can be spread on the soil surface.
3. Light requirements
Although Marcus succulent is fairly adaptable, it cannot tolerate harsh sun exposure. If the summer temperature reaches above 35 degrees, shade treatment is needed, and at the same time make sure the environment is well ventilated.
4. Watering requirements
During the growing season, keep the potting soil moist for Marcus succulent. Generally, water about 3 times a month. If it is the rainy season, do not leave it in the rain for a long time, to avoid water accumulating in the potting soil and causing root rot.
In winter, when the temperature is relatively low, watering can be reduced or stopped, and the potting soil should be kept as dry as possible, so the potted Marcus can safely overwinter.
5. Fertilizing requirements
To help Marcus succulent grow better, some nutrients can be supplemented during the growing period. Enough nutrients are beneficial for the growth of Marcus succulent.
