Many people like keeping fish, such as goldfish and koi. Some people keep fish in clay vats, some in glass tanks, and some in ceramic fish bowls. So,how do you keep fish in a ceramic fish bowl?

1. Clean the fish bowl

To keep fish in a ceramic fish bowl, you must first clean the bowl thoroughly, washing away dirt and dust. Do not use things like detergent to clean it. After the bowl is washed, it needs to be disinfected. You can use a potassium permanganate solution for disinfection; if you do not have potassium permanganate solution, you can use vinegar instead.

2. Add fresh water

Add fresh water to the fish bowl; it can be mineral water or deep well water. After adding the water, leave it for 1-2 days so that the water temperature balances with the outside air temperature. If the temperature difference is too great, it will affect the fish's life.

3. Put fish in the bowl

Once the water temperature in the fish bowl has been adjusted, you can put fish into the bowl. Put fish in according to the size of the bowl, and do not make the stocking density too high. Too high a density is not only bad for keeping the water, but also bad for viewing.

4. Feed bait

Feed bait at set times, of set quality, and in set amounts. The amount fed should be eaten within 5 to 10 minutes, once or twice a day. You can also place some easy-to-grow aquatic plants in the water to provide shelter, food, and water purification for the fish.

5. Keep the water clean

The most important thing in keeping fish is keeping the water, and you must always keep the water clean. When the fish have just been put into the bowl, you can install a filter to keep the water clean. Change the water regularly; you can change out one tenth of the old water every day. Do not let oil or grease get into the water, so as to avoid the fish dying from lack of oxygen.
