When it is blooming, water should not be sprayed downward over the canopy. However, it still has a very high demand for water, but we need to meet its requirements through watering rather than spraying.

2. Points to note during the flowering period

(1) Water: The most important point, of course, is water. This is because this plant usually has a very large number of flowers, so its water demand is relatively large as well. If the water supply is insufficient, then even if it blooms, the petals will droop, or the color at their edges will fade and then turn dark brown, and the ornamental effect will be very poor. Therefore, throughout its flowering stage, the potting soil should generally remain in a relatively moist state, and the frequency is usually controlled at once every two or three days. In addition, it is also necessary to note that when watering, prevent water from splashing onto the flower center, otherwise its blooming period will be shortened, or it may rot. Also, the water temperature is best kept close to room temperature. Timing should also be noted: do not give water in the morning or evening, and it is best around 10 a.m. to around 4 p.m.

(2) Placement location: During the flowering period, it is best to place it by the window, or in a place close to the window. These places have good ventilation and can receive some scattered light.

(3) Fertilization: While it is in the flowering period, do not apply fertilizer, but some can be used afterward.

(4) Temperature: Keep the temperature at around 20 degrees, and do not let it be too low. Likewise, too high is also not good, and it is best not to exceed 30 degrees.
