This plant is also called "Bromeliad" or "Guzmania." Take a look at its pictures - do you feel its charm? In addition, its symbolic meaning is very good, which we can see from its name - it can bring good luck. These reasons all make it a very popular ornamental plant. However, when its leaves curl up, its ornamental value is greatly affected. So, how should you deal with it?

1. Temperature problems

(1) Cause: This plant likes to grow in warm places, so if the temperature conditions do not meet its requirements, its leaves may become curled. However, regarding temperature, there are two different problems. The first is temperature that is too high; the second is the exact opposite - temperature that is too low.

(2) Solution: Whether the temperature is high or low, we must adjust it to a range suitable for its growth. Generally speaking, the daytime temperature range is best at 21°C-28°C; the nighttime range is best at 18°C-21°C. In addition, the highest temperature cannot exceed 35°C; the lowest temperature cannot be below 10°C. Doing this may help alleviate the leaf curling.

2. Humidity problems

(1) Cause: If the air humidity is below 50%, leaf curling may also occur.

(2) Solution: Air humidity is best controlled at 75%-85%. If it is too humid, then appropriate ventilation can be provided; if it is too dry, then spray some water into the air.

3. Light problems

(1) Cause: This plant is relatively light-loving. So, if the light is too weak, the above-mentioned situation may also occur.

(2) Solution: Let the plant receive as much light as possible. Especially in winter, it is best to maintain four or five hours of light per day. In addition, if there are cloudy or rainy days, you can also artificially increase the light time, such as by using lights to shine on it.
