How to water bonsai correctly after laying moss
Watering method:
Let's first talk about the growing environment of moss. Moisture is an indispensable factor. Only with sufficient moisture can moss grow, but it also needs sufficient moisture to be conducive to its growth. So when maintaining moss daily, watering is the primary task. However, considering the presence of other plants in the bonsai, the right method must be chosen when watering.
The simplest watering method is to choose a smaller spray bottle, adjust the nozzle to a mist setting, and then spray water on it. But be careful to try not to splash it onto other plants. The number of sprays can be determined by the growing environment. If the environment is relatively dry, spray 2 to 3 times a day. If the environment has a certain degree of moisture, once a day is enough.
Precautions:
If there is only moss in the bonsai, then there is no need to pay so much attention; just place it in a slightly moist spot to grow it. But if moss is used as a decorative plant for the bonsai, then first gain a general understanding of its main plants, and then choose an appropriate environment for growing it.
Moss grows best in an environment at 25 degrees. At the same time, it is also the plant most afraid of drying out, so in summer, good moisture retention work must be done. In winter, it is generally kept indoors, but the indoor environment is very dry. This is also a major test for moss.
