What Is Garlic Yellow? A Detailed Guide to the Latest Garlic Yellow Growing Methods
I. How to Grow Garlic Yellow
1. Hydroponics: Prepare several heads of garlic, peel off the outermost layer of skin from the garlic heads, then prepare a shallow dish and arrange the garlic heads in it, filling the gaps between the garlic heads with garlic cloves. Next, pour clean water into the shallow dish, adding water to cover 1/3 of the height of the garlic. Place it in a dark, lightless room, and replenish the water promptly when it runs out. Hydroponically grown garlic will sprout in 3 days and grow tall enough to harvest in half a month. When harvesting, leave 10cm and cut off the garlic yellow, then continue to keep the remaining part shaded for care. After another half a month, you can cut another crop. Generally, hydroponically grown garlic can be harvested three times.
2. Soil culture: Prepare several heads of garlic, soak the garlic in clean water for 2 days, then remove the garlic and place it in a cool, ventilated place to drain off the water, allowing the garlic to grow roots. After the garlic grows new roots, cut off the old roots, plant the garlic in soil, cover with 3cm of fine sandy soil, water thoroughly, and place it in a dark room. Usually keep the soil slightly moist. When the garlic yellow grows to 30-40cm tall, it can be harvested.
