What is the typical latest chili pepper yield per mu in jin?
I. How many jin is the yield per mu?
For ordinary cultivation, the average yield per mu is about 500 kg, but with careful management, the yield is generally around 1000 kg. However, because varieties differ and management levels vary, the specific yield is not very exact and varies according to the variety. Under careful management, some varieties may even exceed 4000 kg, and the yield is also very considerable, but it is not fixed.
II. Planting methods
1. Both broadcast sowing and dibbling are quite suitable. Select suitable seeds and remove the bad ones. Soak them in warm water for about 15 minutes, keeping the water temperature at 50°C, then remove them and dry them.
2. Water the soil thoroughly, then sow the seeds into it and cover them with about 1 cm of fine soil. The temperature also needs to be kept at 25 to 30°C; below 15°C, germination is not very easy.
3. During the period when the seedlings emerge, control watering; do not water too much, otherwise the branches are prone to excessive vegetative growth. After a few more leaves grow, they can be transplanted elsewhere for planting.
