Succulents have a cute, endearing look and relatively thick leaves, so they are deeply loved by flower enthusiasts. When caring for succulents, it is not that simple; when repotting, a slight mistake can kill the plant, so unless absolutely necessary, never repot.

Stops growing

During the peak growing season, under normal circumstances, succulents will grow vigorously. If the succulents at home grow slowly or stop growing, it may be because the soil lacks nutrients. Just repot the succulents into some loose, fertile soil, and they will grow nonstop.

Dead branches and rotten roots

In the process of raising succulents, dead branches and leaves and root rot are very likely to appear. Then you need to clean up all the dead branches and leaves, prune away all the rotten roots, then disinfect with carbendazim, and after they dry, repot them.

Growing until the pot bursts

Some succulents grow relatively quickly. After they grow until the pot bursts, some flower enthusiasts will not repot them because of the aesthetics, and over time the succulent roots will not be able to breathe well, causing nutrient deficiency. So you must divide them or transplant them into a larger flower pot.

About one week before repotting succulents, you need to stop watering, and wait until the soil is slightly dry before removing them from the pot. After repotting succulents, do not water immediately. You can spray some clean water around them to keep the soil slightly moist, and after they recover from transplanting, resume normal care.
