1. Natural causes

Reason: A peace lily turning green may simply be a natural phenomenon. The flowers are white at first, but as they are about to fade, the chlorophyll naturally contained in the petals remains within the flower; afterward these elements are broken down, and the petals naturally show signs of turning green.
