How to Make Rose Cuttings Root Quickly? A Detailed Guide to the Latest Method
1. Treating the Cuttings
Cut off a branch, dip it in a little rooting powder, or soak it in rooting solution for about 10 minutes, then insert it into the growing medium to a depth of one-third to two-fifths of the branch's length.
2. Choosing the Medium
The medium used for inserting the cuttings should be loose and have good water retention and air permeability; perlite mixed with garden soil can be used.
3. The Cutting Environment
After the cuttings are inserted, place the whole plant where it is not exposed to direct sunlight, keep the air circulating, and it is best that the temperature does not exceed 25 degrees. If the temperature reaches above 30 degrees, appropriate cooling must be carried out, otherwise the plant is prone to disease and rot, and will eventually die.
4. Proper Care
Mist the plant once in the early morning every three to five days to maintain the humidity of the plant's growing environment, thereby encouraging the plant to root quickly and grow vigorously.
