What are the latest precautions for oyster mushroom cultivation?
The oyster mushroom is a very common edible fungus that can be used for stir-frying, making soup, and various pairings. Its texture is very delicate and smooth, and most importantly, the nutritional content of the oyster mushroom is also relatively high. Although there are quite a lot of oyster mushrooms on the market now, this does not affect its sales at all. So to make more money in the future, we need to increase the yield and quality of oyster mushrooms. Therefore, today we will learn together about the precautions for oyster mushroom cultivation.
1. Mushroom yard
The oyster mushroom is an edible fungus that likes moisture and warmth, so when choosing a mushroom yard we should pay attention to choosing a site with good heat retention and moisture retention as the mushroom house. Second, the ventilation of the mushroom yard should be relatively good, and the air in the mushroom house should often be kept circulating, which can reduce the production of bacteria and prevent them from hindering the growth and development of the oyster mushroom. Finally, the mushroom yard should be thoroughly and completely disinfected and sterilized before inoculating the oyster mushroom, which can avoid the harm of other fungi to the oyster mushroom spawn.
2. Ingredients
When preparing the ingredients, we should pay attention to keeping the ingredients clean, hygienic and free of pollution. At the same time, the ingredients must be stirred evenly, and we must wait until the ingredients have fully fermented before loading them. Second, when loading, we cannot fill it directly to the top. We need to first load a layer of ingredients, then load a layer of spawn, and load in this way. Finally, and most importantly, after loading the ingredients, high-temperature or high-pressure disinfection and sterilization should be carried out to ensure the sterility of the ingredients.
3. Temperature
Temperature is a very important factor affecting the fruiting of oyster mushrooms. If the temperature in the fruiting house is too high or too low, this will cause the mushroom emergence speed of the oyster mushroom to slow down, and may even lead to the death of the mycelium and failure of fruiting. The most suitable temperature for the growth of oyster mushrooms is between 20 and 30 degrees. Generally, in the early stage, the temperature of the fruiting house is controlled at around 28 degrees, and in the later stage the temperature can be slowly lowered, preferably controlled at around 24 to 25, which can promote the speed of fruiting.
4. Humidity
Humidity is another important factor affecting the fruiting of oyster mushrooms. Since the oyster mushroom is a fungus that likes moisture, it grows faster and better in a humid environment. Under normal circumstances, the humidity of the fruiting house is best kept at around 60 percent to 70 percent. When it is time for fruiting, we need to appropriately increase the humidity of the fruiting house, generally to around 75 percent, among which the humidity in the air should be greater than or equal to 85 percent, so that the oyster mushroom can grow rapidly.
5. Disease prevention
The growth of oyster mushrooms actually has no diseases, but when supervision of the temperature, humidity, ingredients and other aspects in the fruiting house is not in place, other fungi will appear. In edible fungus cultivation, these are called weed fungi, so we need to remove these weed fungi. Although some of these weed fungi do not affect the growth of oyster mushrooms, there are also individual weed fungi that are natural enemies of oyster mushrooms. Therefore, to ensure that no accidents occur in the growth of oyster mushrooms, first we need to strengthen management, and second we need to carry out scientific sterilization management.
