We are all very familiar with it; together with plum blossom, camellia, and narcissus, it is known as one of the "Four Friends in the Snow." Take a look at its pictures - what do you notice first? Of course, its charming flowers. That's right, it is a plant grown mainly for its flowers. So, when is its flowering period? What should be noted when it blooms?

1. The flowering time of this plant

Actually, just by hearing the name of this plant, we can roughly guess when its flowers bloom, right? That's right, it's spring. Specifically, it is mainly concentrated from March to May and can last about fifty days.

2. Notes during flowering

(1) Temperature: A plant's flowering is of course closely related to temperature. When it blooms, keeping the temperature within a range of about 12 to 16°C can make it bloom longer. If you want it to bloom right at Spring Festival, you can place it indoors two or three weeks before the festival.

(2) Water: When it blooms, we can spray some clean water on its branches and leaves every day, once or twice a day; doing so is beneficial to its flowering. Also, do not water too much.

(3) Sunlight: We should understand that this plant itself is particularly fond of light, let alone during its flowering period. Although it is slightly shade-tolerant, that applies to ordinary times; if it happens to be in the flowering period, then light must not be lacking. Moreover, winter sunlight is not especially strong, so the plant can be allowed to receive as much light as possible.

(4) Flower fertilizer: In order to provide the plant with enough nutrients, we can appropriately use some flower fertilizer to help it bloom, but just be careful not to make the concentration too high.

(5) Wind: When the plant is blooming, it must never be blown directly by very strong wind, especially very cold wind.
