Detailed Explanation of the Latest Winter Fertilization Methods for Rapeseed
Rapeseed is one of the main oilseed crops in our country. Its rapeseed plants are tall, have a long growth period, and also require a relatively large amount of fertilizer. Winter fertilization of rapeseed can also enhance its cold resistance and promote early growth after the beginning of spring. So how should rapeseed be fertilized in winter? Come along with the editor and take a look.
1. Skillfully apply seedling-promoting fertilizer
After the seedlings are transplanted and turn green again, seedling-promoting fertilizer should be applied in a timely manner, the earlier the better. Generally, apply 3-5 kg of urea, 5 kg of potassium chloride, 300-500 g of boron fertilizer, and 750-1000 kg of thin human and livestock manure water per mu, and it needs to be applied 1-2 times. Alternatively, apply 45-50 kg of ammonium bicarbonate per mu, and after application, the plants will turn green again as quickly as possible, thus making full use of the high temperatures after clear weather to promote rapeseed to root and grow leaves as quickly as possible.
2. Apply heavy twelfth-month fertilizer
The twelfth-month fertilizer is mainly organic fertilizer. For plots with medium fertility, apply 1000-1500 kg of decomposed farmyard manure, 10-12 kg of superphosphate, and 5-7.5 kg of ammonium bicarbonate per mu. When applying, mix the three fertilizers evenly together. Then apply it between the rows, combined with intertillage and weeding, so as to play a role in keeping warm, promoting roots, protecting roots, and increasing fertility.
3. Foliar spraying of fertilizer
Foliar spraying of phosphate fertilizer can enhance the cold resistance of rapeseed. The method for preparing the phosphate fertilizer solution is to crush 2 kg of phosphate fertilizer per mu, then put it into a container, add an appropriate amount of clean water to soak it, remove it after one week, then add 200 g of urea per mu, and spray the leaves until they are dripping. If the container is relatively small and the prepared fertilizer solution is insufficient, a small amount of clean water can be added to reduce the evaporation of the solution and maximize its absorption and utilization by the leaves. Foliar fertilizer spraying should be done on a sunny afternoon in windless weather.
4. Spring fertilizer for strong seedlings
Do a good job in the spring fertilizer and strong seedling work for late-planted rapeseed. This is an important measure for late-planted rapeseed to achieve high yield. Generally, after spring, apply 8-10 kg of urea per mu, and apply another 5-7 kg during the bolting stage. Rely on spring fertilizer to achieve the goal of high yield, and strictly prevent late-developing rapeseed from developing downy mildew after spring. During the bolting stage, pesticides such as miebingwei and hekuling can be used for control.
