To reduce pest and disease damage to pear fruit, reduce pesticide contamination, and improve the external quality of the fruit, bagging pear fruit is very important. When bagging pear fruit, we should pay attention to the following seven points:

1. During the entire bagging process, do not touch the young fruit with your hands, to prevent man-made damage to the fruit skin.

2. Tie the bag with appropriate tightness; do not use too much force, to prevent breaking the fruit stalk, or tying the wire too tightly and affecting fruit growth, or tying too loosely and causing the fruit to fall off in windy weather.

3. The bag opening must not be tied into a trumpet shape, to prevent rainwater, chemicals, or pests and diseases from entering the bag, and do not bag leaves inside the bag.

4. When bagging, the ventilation and drainage opening should be opened, and the fruit must be positioned in the middle of the bag.

5. If it rains during the bagging period or bags are not finished within 5 days after spraying, spray again carefully.

6. Do not bag when dew has not dried or the spray liquid has not dried, otherwise black spots and fruit russeting are likely to appear on the fruit surface.

7. For bagging, choose moderate-vigor trees in full fruiting stage, and do not choose old and weak trees, excessively vigorous trees, pest- and disease-affected trees, wind-gap trees, or stunted old trees.
