Can cacti really absorb radiation? The truth is here
1. What is radiation
The radiation produced by sunlight is different from the radiation produced by electrical appliances in daily life. The sun emits "radiant energy," while electrical appliances produce a kind of radiation ray. This energy wave travels in a straight line, and so far no substance has been found that can change the direction in which this radiation ray travels. Radiation rays, like sound waves, are an invisible wave, but they are far more frightening than sound waves, because they can pass through all living things, and DNA is easily damaged by them.
2. It does not protect against radiation
We know that cacti grow in extremely hot regions with a dry climate, where sunlight is very intense and radiation is unusually high, yet cacti can still grow very vigorously. Since they can adapt to this kind of high solar radiation environment, does that mean they can also protect against radiation from electrical appliances?
Actually, they cannot. Although cacti love strong sunlight, they cannot absorb harmful rays. We know that people today want a higher quality of life, and protective products are very popular, so many merchants exaggerate the properties of cacti in order to make a profit. More importantly, this kind of radiation does not have a fatal effect on our bodies, though eye fatigue is very easy to develop. However, if everyone really wants to have a strong body, when using a computer, the distance must be well controlled, and if you can avoid using a computer, then do not face it; it is recommended to use some materials and devices that block harmful rays; drinking strong tea also has a certain inhibitory effect on harmful rays.
3. Other benefits
Since it does not absorb radiation, is buying one a waste? Of course it is still useful. All plants can be medicine, and the benefits of using cacti are also very many.
1. Medicinal use
It can be used as medicine, with effects such as washing hemorrhoids, treating sore throats, reducing fever and removing dampness, healing wounds and stopping bleeding, and so on.
2. Edible use
Some species of cacti are edible, and you can buy them in supermarkets. They are very nutritious, contain multiple vitamins, and can even be used as a health supplement.
3. Beauty use
