This plant is rich in flower colors and is not easily affected by pests and diseases, so everyone likes to grow it. And whether for landscaping decoration or flowerbed accent, it is an excellent basic plant. When its branches grow long, because of the softness of the stems and branches, it is also used as a hanging flower for appreciation. So is it difficult to propagate this very widely used plant? How should it be propagated? Below are several propagation methods for you.

I. Sowing

1. Sowing is generally chosen in spring and autumn. If you want annual cultivation, you can choose to sow in spring. Because its seeds have a relatively low germination rate and are very sensitive to the moisture of the seedling bed's growing soil, we can choose to water the medium the night before sowing to moisten the growing soil. Start sowing the next morning, and there is no need to water again after sowing.

2. After sowing, we should cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil, and then cover with a thin layer of vermiculite powder.

3. During this period, maintain the surrounding room temperature at 20°C to 22°C. This temperature environment can effectively increase the germination rate, and it will sprout after about 14 to 20 days.

II. Cuttage

1. If you choose this method, it is best to do it during its peak growing season - May to July.

2. What you need to do is select a relatively healthy and mature young branch, cut it off with scissors, and cut it into a length of 8 to 10 cm. It is best if the branch has 2 to 3 nodes.

3. Insert it into the prepared growing medium, and after 10 to 15 days it will grow roots.

III. Layering:

Because its stems and branches are in a creeping state, and its nodes can grow roots, this method can also propagate it quickly.
