The weather is gradually warming up, which also signals that the planting season is about to arrive. Have you already carried out a detailed pre-use inspection of your sprinkler irrigation equipment? If not, then let's take a look together at the points to note when inspecting a sprinkler irrigation machine before use:

1. Inspection of the equipment center point

1) Check that bolts are not loose;

2) Oil the elbow: fill the rotating part of the center support with grease;

3) Check the flexible coupling: check whether the pins and bolts of the flexible coupling at the top of the center point are complete;

4) Clean the control cabinet: clean out mud and sand from the control cabinet and the slip ring;

5) Check the wiring terminals: check whether the wiring terminals inside the control cabinet are loose or firmly secured, whether the wire insulation is damaged, and use a multimeter to check whether each fuse and contactor is working properly;

6) Check the control cabinet grounding wire: check whether the grounding at the center point is good, and whether all electrical components and power cords are properly connected;

7) Check the transformer wiring.

2. Inspection of the span

1) Check whether the span shape is normal: check whether the shape of the equipment span is normal and whether the span cable is missing. Check whether the equipment span bolts are loose or fallen off;

2) Check the spray drop tubes: check whether the spray drop tubes are installed securely. Install the sprinkler nozzles and check whether the nozzles are complete, in the correct order, and not clogged.

3. Inspection of the drive system

1) Check the tower box: clean out dust and sand inside the tower box, and check whether the power switch at the bottom of the tower box is in the open position. Check whether the wiring terminals inside the tower box are loose and whether the wire insulation is damaged;

2) Check the span connections: check the connections between spans and whether the bolts securing the aluminum clamps are loose. Check whether the red quick drain valve is missing;

3) Check the wheel gearbox and drive motor;

4) Check the transmission system: check whether the drive shaft and flexible coupling of the drive section are secure;

5) Check the tires: check that the tire pressure should be around 22 PSI, 1.5-1.65 kg of pressure. Check whether the tire fixing bolts are loose and whether the length of bolt exposed outside is consistent.

4. Inspection of the cantilever

1) Check the cantilever as a whole: check whether the cantilever as a whole is normal. Check whether the sand discharge port is correctly installed;

2) Check the steel cables: check whether the steel cables are normal and whether any bolts have fallen off;

3) Check the cantilever nozzles: check whether the cantilever nozzles are complete, in the correct order, and not clogged.

5. Other

Check the water pump and other equipment supplying water to the machine, confirm that the drain valve of the buried pipeline is closed and the outlet gate valve is open.
