Irrigation Machine Buying Guide: How to Buy a Suitable Machine
The weather is gradually warming up, which also signals that the planting season is about to arrive. Have you already gained a detailed understanding of irrigation equipment? So how do you buy a suitable irrigation machine?
An irrigation machine is a kind of equipment that combines a power unit, pump, piping, sprinkler heads, moving device, and other facilities into an integrated irrigation device according to the sprinkler irrigation method. It sprays pressurized water into the low air, where it is atomized and falls evenly onto crops and the ground surface like raindrops.
Types of irrigation machines
Commonly used irrigation machines include small irrigation machines, large irrigation machines, linear-move irrigation machines, mobile irrigation machines, hose reel irrigation machines, pointer irrigation machines, center-pivot irrigation machines, circular irrigation machines, twin-boom irrigation machines, and many other types.
Uses of irrigation machines
Sprinkler irrigation has many uses, mainly for crops, forestry nurseries, pastoral grasslands, vegetables and fruit trees, cash crops, garden turf and flowers, and so on. In addition, it is also used for environmental control (such as dust prevention, wind prevention, dry hot wind prevention, frost prevention and cooling), sewage treatment, fish pond aeration, and comprehensive spraying of liquid fertilizer, herbicides, chemical agents, pesticides, insecticides, and so on. Sprinkler irrigation has strong adaptability and is suitable for almost any crop, soil type, terrain, region, and climatic condition.
Sprinkler irrigation technology has the characteristics of saving water, saving labor time, improving land utilization, helping increase crop yields, and having strong adaptability.
Purchase precautions
1. The irrigation machine must meet standard requirements: when choosing an irrigation machine, you should first check whether the product complies with national standards, industry standards, or local standards. For irrigation machines that do not have national standards, industry standards, or local standards, they should have an enterprise standard filed with a technical supervision department at or above the provincial level.
2. The sprinkler heads and pipeline pressure must meet usage requirements: sprinkler heads and pipelines should be selected scientifically and reasonably according to the requirements of sprinkler irrigation use. The quality of sprinkler irrigation work depends not only on the performance of the sprinkler heads, but more importantly on the combined working pressure of the sprinkler heads. The pressure at the pipeline and branch pipe inlet is the basis of sprinkler irrigation area design.
3. Supporting pipes and fittings must be qualified products: the selected supporting pipes and fittings should meet the corresponding technical standards and have a full-item inspection report issued by a testing institution at or above the provincial level.
