Irrigation systems should undergo proper preventive maintenance and care, especially before and after the irrigation season. This helps ensure the machine's working performance, saves on repair costs, and can greatly extend the service life of the system.

Center shaft: There are two grease fittings on the head of the center shaft that need attention. Generally, a multi-purpose oil should be used to grease them once a year.

Wheel gears: There is a grease fitting in the gearbox of the movable system that needs frequent greasing. Generally, it should be greased once every three moves, and even when not in operation, it should be greased once a year to prevent water from entering and rusting the bearings. In short, protect the system components well and frequently check key components such as the gearbox and motor.

Running tires: The tires in the running assembly should have appropriate pressure to ensure uniform irrigation or avoid excessive energy consumption.

After a center pivot irrigation system is put into use, the system components should be checked frequently so that problems can be found and maintenance can be carried out in time. Check the power supply lines to ensure the connections are intact; check the fixing screws and connecting rods and tighten them; refer to the previous daily maintenance items to oil the center shaft, gears, and other components; check the pipelines, pipes, sprinklers, and diversion nodes; check whether the running tires of the center pivot irrigation system are suitable and whether the air pressure is sufficient; check the working voltage and adjust the low-pressure switch; check whether there are obstacles in the irrigation area and confirm that there will be no obstacles affecting operation when the center pivot irrigation system is working;

Maintenance work that should be carried out after the irrigation season ends:

Drain water from pipes and other components. Especially at the end of autumn irrigation, be sure to drain the water from pipes, valves, and nozzles to prevent damage from freezing in winter. Open the sand guard ring and clean it. Check the electrical control system. For example, make sure the insulation switch is in the open state, check the cable sealing tube, and check the wiring connections; do a good job of waterproof protection for electrical control components such as the control board and control box. Check the gearbox, gears, assembly nuts, span connecting rods, etc., apply oil well, and ensure these components are protected by oil.
