Rice transplanters help improve the efficiency of transplanting and the quality of planting, achieve rational close planting, and facilitate mechanization of subsequent operations. With the development of the planting industry, manual cultivation can no longer meet current needs, and the emergence of the rice transplanter has undoubtedly solved this problem. More and more farmers choose to use rice transplanters for their work. How do you repair a rice transplanter? What are the precautions for use?

I. Rice transplanter repair and troubleshooting

1. Hydraulic system fault analysis and handling

Hydraulic system not working at all: insufficient oil, clogged filter element, poor (clogged) oil circuit, faulty oil pump.

Seedling platform lowers automatically: poor travel of the lift link (clean regularly), poor oil circuit in the cylinder, faulty control valve.

Seedling platform cannot rise: poor link control (mud buildup, so it should be oiled frequently), insufficient oil, poor locking, faulty cylinder, faulty oil pipe, faulty control valve.

Machine walks weakly

Insufficient pulley tension (length); insufficient hydraulic oil, vacuum; clogged filter element, poor oil circuit; faulty HST.

Machine body steers heavily or cannot steer

Low engine speed; insufficient oil; insufficient oil pumping or no oil pumping.

2. Common engine fault analysis and handling

Engine will not start: check whether the main fuse is powered and whether the main switch has a problem.

3. Insufficient engine power

① Insufficient intake; ② clogged air filter; ③ poor fuel circuit; ④ clogged fuel filter element; ⑤ insufficient fuel.

4. Engine emits blue smoke

Burning oil; piston ring alignment; oil ring damaged beyond limit; cylinder and piston beyond limit.

5. Engine water temperature too high

Overload operation; cylinder head gasket burnt; incorrect ignition timing; clogged grille; insufficient cooling water (or antifreeze problem); stuck thermostat valve.

II. Precautions when using a rice transplanter

1. Use of lubricating oil and precautions

Whether receiving a new machine, after major maintenance and repair, or every shift, the oil level must be carefully checked. Keep it regularly at the upper limit of the dipstick. (Otherwise, climbing steep slopes can easily cause stopping without power drive and accelerate HST wear.) Do not try to save money by delaying oil changes (this will shorten the service life of the machine). Stick to using the specified product.

2. Engine oil and coolant

In addition to ensuring the use of special oil, the engine oil level must be kept at the upper limit of the dipstick. Break the mindset of relying on complacency; do not forget to check the oil level for a new machine or after major repair; replace it promptly according to the instructions and do not delay, especially for air-cooled machines.

Coolant must also be kept sufficient, and the product specified by the manufacturer must be added and replaced, otherwise it will cause high temperature and corrosion in the machine.

3. Fuel

Use unleaded gasoline of 93# or above. If engine knock or vibration is found, the fuel may contain water, and it should be replaced immediately, otherwise the fan plate and other auxiliary components will be damaged.

4. Frequently check the length of the seedling needles and the seedling pickup amount

The guide rail nylon pad should be replaced every three years for fields of 300 mu. For larger plots, check as appropriate and replace promptly.

For the Kubota seedling platform threaded shaft, pay attention to the chuck and the width of the thread groove after 300 mu of operation, and replace immediately once it exceeds the limit to prevent greater losses.

Drivers should communicate with each other and carefully read the user manual to reduce faults and improve work quality and efficiency.

In short, the main contents of maintenance and care are basically the same: cleaning, inspection, lubrication, adjustment, tightening, repair, replacement, and so on. When using the machine, we must also pay attention to the methods of use and precautions, so that the machine can operate for a longer time.
