A Detailed Guide to Precautions for Using a Reversible Plow and Its Repair and Maintenance Methods
In the northern regions of China, traditional tillage methods have long been used: plowing with a moldboard plow, with a plowing depth generally of 25-30cm. Over time, the thickness of the plow pan increases, and the soil's water storage capacity weakens, so the moisture in the soil cannot be preserved and used to the maximum extent, affecting the increase in crop yields and the harvest. The emergence of the reversible plow easily solved this problem and replaced the moldboard plow. With a single pass into the ground, the reversible plow can turn the soil within the working width at the normal plowing depth and loosen the plow pan, achieving the deep tillage requirement of turning the upper layer and loosening the lower layer without disturbing the soil layers. Test results show that this prototype reached the design specifications and has broad application value. So what precautions should be noted during the use of the reversible plow? How should it be repaired and maintained?
Precautions for Using a Reversible Plow
During the use of a reversible plow, attention should be paid to the consistency of the plowing depth so as to achieve the effect of deep plowing and breaking through the plow pan. To meet the requirements, the reversible plow often needs a thorough investigation before operation, and a comprehensive and effective inspection of the machine itself is a form of protection for the machine's own operation.
1. The reversible plow must have a dedicated person responsible for its maintenance and use, who is familiar with the performance of the subsoiler and understands the machine's structure as well as the adjustment methods and use of each operating point;
2. Before the reversible plow works, the connecting bolts of all parts must be checked, and there must be no loosening. Check the lubricating grease at all parts and add it in time if insufficient, and check the wear condition of wearing parts;
3. During plow operation, the subsoiling spacing must be kept consistent. Operation should maintain uniform speed and straight-line travel;
4. During operation, it should be ensured that there is no repeated loosening, no missed loosening, and no dragging of soil into piles;
5. During operation, the working condition should be checked at any time, and any blockage of the machine or implement should be cleaned up in time;
6. If abnormal noise occurs during the operation of the reversible plow, operation should be stopped in time, and work should continue only after the cause is identified and solved;
7. When the machine is working, if hard objects are found and resistance suddenly increases, please stop operation immediately, eliminate the adverse condition, and then operate again;
8. In order to ensure the service life of the reversible plow, entry into and exit from the soil should be carried out slowly, and it should not be forced;
9. After the equipment has been operating for a period of time, a comprehensive inspection should be carried out, and any fault found should be repaired in time.
After one side of the reversible plow is adjusted well, the other side should also be adjusted by the same method so as to achieve the effect of consistent plowing depth for left turning and right turning. This requires us to patiently and meticulously do the preparation work before operation, and to maximize the use efficiency of the reversible plow as much as possible.
Maintenance, Care, and Troubleshooting of the Reversible Plow
1. Regularly check the tightness of all bolts and nuts.
2. Ensure that the plow landslide remains in good condition. A worn landslide will affect the working performance of the plow. The landslides of this series of plows can be used interchangeably, Hengli reversible plow, thereby increasing service life.
3. Worn parts may affect various aspects of the plow's performance, so all parts of the plow body should be frequently checked and adjusted.
4. Add lubricating oil to each lubrication point every 8 hours, especially ensuring the rotational flexibility between the plow frame rotating shaft and the suspension frame.
5. Pay attention to dust prevention for all hydraulic components, moldboard reversible plow, prevent contamination, and the cylinder piston rod must be protected from knocks. During long-term storage, be careful to wrap and seal the pipe joints tightly.
6. Before or after operation, the pneumatic reversing structure must be disassembled, inspected, cleaned, and filled with lubricating oil or grease to keep it in good condition.
7. During transportation or operation, the reversible plow must slow down when passing over uneven roads or furrows and ridges, so as to avoid damage to machine parts caused by excessive bumping and impact.
