Can avocado, oil gourd, lettuce seeds, spicy mustard seeds and rapeseed flowers be pressed for oil, and how should they be pressed?
Avocado, oil gourd, lettuce seeds, spicy mustard seeds and rapeseed flowers are all things we can see in daily life, so do you know whether they can be pressed for oil? How are they pressed? It is understood that the first few can all be pressed for oil, but rapeseed flowers cannot be pressed for oil; what can be pressed for oil is the seeds of the rapeseed flower, and rapeseed is an herbaceous cruciferous crop, one of the main oil crops and nectar-source crops in our country, and its seeds are one of the main varieties of raw materials for extracting oil. It is cultivated throughout the country and is divided into two types: winter rapeseed and spring rapeseed.
How is avocado pressed for oil?
1. Collect a sufficient amount of avocado pits and dry them in the sun.
2. Crush them and put them into an oil press to start pressing (a machine for pressing peanut oil will do).
3. Collect and store the avocado pit oil in a sealed container.
The nutrition of avocado oil
1. It contains nearly 70% of the antioxidant components of the whole avocado. Antioxidant means anti-aging. Fighting free radicals in the body, reducing dark spots and firming the skin are all things that foods rich in antioxidants can do for you.

How is rapeseed pressed for oil?
1. Cleaning and drying the rapeseed: If the soil, stems and leaves and other debris mixed into the rapeseed are not removed before it enters the oil press, it will not only affect the quality of the oil and the cake meal, but will also absorb part of the oil and reduce the oil yield. If sand, stones, metal, hemp rope and other debris are mixed into the rapeseed, it will even cause wear to machine parts and induce production accidents, affecting the process effect.
Therefore, in order to ensure smooth production, impurities must be removed as much as possible; for individual rapeseed fruits with high water content, drying treatment is also very necessary in order to make shelling easier.
2. Heat treatment: Heat treatment is one of the most important processes in the oil extraction process, including moistening and heating the raw blank, which is called steaming the blank or roasting the blank in production; the blank after steaming and roasting is called the cooked blank. Raw blanks that are pressed after heat treatment are called hot pressing, and those without heat treatment are called cold pressing. Rapeseed is mainly hot pressed. The quality of the heat treatment effect has a direct impact on the smooth progress of the entire oil-making process, the level of the oil yield, and the quality of the oil and cake meal.
3. Pressing: The round pressing bars of the oil press have a sawtooth-shaped curve and conical surface. When the rapeseed is being pressed, it is pushed and squeezed by the pressing screw, causing the volume of the space between the pressing screw and the inner wall of the pressing cage to change continuously. At the rear of the pressing cage, because round pressing bars are arranged there, the inner wall of the pressing cage is sawtooth-shaped; the material blank is alternately pressed and relaxed here, and the structure of the material blank is continuously adjusted and evenly turned, so that the material blank from which oil has not been pressed out or from which less oil has been pressed out has more opportunities to be fully pressed.
