How much seed, fertilizer, pesticide and plastic mulch are needed for one mu of soybeans?

Soybean, commonly known as yellow bean, is an annual herb of the genus Glycine in the Fabaceae family, native to China, cultivated throughout China and also widely cultivated around the world. So how much seed, fertilizer, pesticide and plastic mulch are generally used per mu? According to Sun Haijun, a soybean grower in Laiwu, Shandong, soybean sowing is generally about 6 jin per mu, which can be adjusted appropriately according to conditions, and the yield per mu is about 180-200 kg.

How much fertilizer is used for one mu of soybeans?

1. Generally, for one hectare of soybeans, 3 bags of diammonium phosphate, 1 bag of potash fertilizer and 1 bag of large-granule urea are sufficient.

2. As base fertilizer, apply 400 kg of farmyard organic fertilizer and 36 kg of calcium-magnesium phosphate per 667 sq m of land; for barren soil, 100 kg of urea is also needed.

3. When using urea as a foliar fertilizer in soybean fields, use a concentration of 1%%, spray 30-40 kg of fertilizer solution per mu, using 300-400 g of urea.

How much pesticide and plastic mulch are used for one mu of soybeans?

Usually pesticides come with instructions, for example, 80-120 g per mu, or a 1000-fold to 2000-fold solution, etc.

For manual spraying, the theoretical water volume is about 60 kg per mu, but in actual production, generally 2 sprayer tanks of solution, i.e. 30 kg, are enough to spray one mu. At this point, if the pesticide amount per mu is calculated at 80 g, adding 40 g of pesticide per tank ensures that the pesticide amount per mu reaches 40 g; if the instructions specify a 1000-fold solution, calculated at the theoretical water volume of 60 kg per mu, 60 g of pesticide is needed, and in practice adding 30 g per tank (i.e. a 500-fold solution) is sufficient. When using agricultural machinery with a high-pressure pesticide pump for spraying, the water volume per mu will be even less, as long as the pure pesticide amount per mu meets the required dosage.

Plastic mulch: one mu is 666 sq m, but calculate actual use as 700 sq m; if it is a PET product 12u thick, one ton is 59500 sq m, i.e. 85 kg; if it is 20u OPP, one ton is 55500 sq m, i.e. 80 kg.
