As a major food crop, wheat is a grass species widely grown around the world, and the caryopsis of wheat is one of humanity's staple foods. So, how can wheat achieve high yield? What are the precautions?

1. Sunning the seed

Before sowing wheat, whether the wheat is bought from an agricultural store or kept from your own stock, dry it first, but note that it should not be exposed to harsh sun; it is ordinary drying, and it should not be spread directly on concrete or asphalt; a plastic ground sheet can be used.

The purpose is to increase the germination rate of the sown wheat, develop a more robust root system, improve seedling and tillering rates, and other benefits, so that the natural yield is stable.

2. Preparation

Fine land preparation

To improve soil structure and enhance the soil's water storage and moisture conservation capacity, carry out fine ploughing and careful leveling before sowing, ploughing to 23~25cm, and return straw to the field; this not only enhances soil fertility but can also break the plough pan, meeting the standards of deep, fine, thorough, level, firm and sufficient (water), that is, the tillage layer should be deep (20~25cm for dry land, 15~20cm for rice stubble land), and after ploughing, harrow it fine (broken), harrow thoroughly, level it and firm it, achieving a loose top and firm bottom, storing water and conserving moisture.

3. Corn straw

Now it is rice straw; it is recommended that we must put the straw into the water and plough it in, so as to accelerate the decomposition of the straw.

Or you can add ammonium bicarbonate or calcium superphosphate, which can quickly accelerate straw decomposition, making later wheat planting more convenient and at the same time providing sufficient nutrients.

4. Dressing

Before sowing wheat, we all know that this dressing has many benefits, for insects and diseases and production, such as grubs, mole crickets, wireworms, aphids, root rot and rhizoctonia, all of which are diseases, just as is done in the control of wheat in the later growth stages.

Through the above 4 points, after sowing wheat, a high and abundant yield can be obtained. So we should not be afraid of trouble; just like raising animals, if you feed them better, they will also grow well. Likewise, wheat is the same: the more frequently it is managed, the higher the yield will be.
