The second looks rather like canna, and its name is ginger flower (Hedychium coronarium); it can produce flowers. However, it is very difficult for it to flower, and only when the soil, temperature and other conditions are all very suitable can it bloom. Its flowers are spicate, with yellow edges on the bracts, and all wrap purple or green flowers, with the flower stem about 30 cm.
When does it bloom?
The flowering period of ginger flower is actually mainly concentrated in summer, and it can bloom in July——August, with very good flowering quality. Generally speaking, ginger flower grows very fast, and each year it can produce about 20——40 new plants by division.
However, in actual cultivation, the flowering time of ginger flower is related to the climate of the growing region. On the style there are pale yellow anthers and pollen, somewhat like a butterfly's antennae, and the whole flower looks like a dancing flower.

Although ginger blooming is rare, it is a natural phenomenon, and blooming will not affect ginger's yield, nor will it affect its food safety.
