Latest prices:

The market price of Four-Season Osmanthus ranges from several tens to over a thousand yuan, mainly depending on the size you want. Generally, a Four-Season Osmanthus with a ground diameter of 5 cm and a crown width of 1.5 m costs about 20 yuan per plant; one with a ground diameter of 8 cm and a crown width of 4 m costs about 100 yuan per plant; and one with a ground diameter of 20 cm and a crown width of 11 m costs about 4000 yuan per plant.

Bloom time:

Four-Season Osmanthus blooms around March to May. If cultivated properly, it will bloom very vigorously in this season, giving off a pleasant floral fragrance.

Transplanting time:

Four-Season Osmanthus is generally transplanted in spring or autumn, but spring is still the best time for transplanting. If you want to transplant in autumn, you can do it where the temperature gradually drops and water sources are relatively abundant, usually after October.

Transplanting method:

1. Four-Season Osmanthus can be lifted on cloudy days or in the morning and evening, using tools such as a shovel to lift the seedlings. When lifting the seedlings, they should have a soil ball, and the soil ball should preferably be dug larger. When lifting the seedlings, be careful not to damage the roots, and the soil ball can be tied tightly with straw rope.

2. Before transplanting, dig a suitable pit, then place the Four-Season Osmanthus with its soil ball into the pit and fill in soil. Because Four-Season Osmanthus is not tolerant of waterlogging, when filling in soil, the planting depth should be higher than the original. After all the soil is filled in, water thoroughly. If the Four-Season Osmanthus plant is relatively large, appropriate pruning can be done to improve the survival rate.

3. When transplanting Four-Season Osmanthus, choose branches that are growing well, vigorous and free of pests and diseases, preferably ones that have not yet sprouted new shoots. If you want to transplant large flowering seedlings, water thoroughly one week in advance so the root system absorbs enough water, making it easier to remove from the pot.
