3. Reducing inflammation, sterilizing, and treating dysentery. Medical research and clinical experiments have proven that Yunnan Pu'er tea has a bacteria-inhibiting effect; taking strong tea liquid 10 times a day can treat bacillary dysentery, which is directly related to the rich tea polyphenols contained in Yunnan large-leaf tea.
4. Anti-aging. The catechin compounds in tea have an anti-aging effect. The catechins contained in Yunnan large-leaf tea are higher in total amount than those of other tea tree varieties, and its anti-aging effect is better than that of other teas; the rich tea polyphenols help skin resist aging.

Others
Pu'er tea itself contains lipase, which breaks down fat; this lipase has a good effect on fat decomposition, can help many people who are trying to lose belly fat by digesting and burning fat, and Pu'er tea can also beautify the skin and protect the stomach.
How should Pu'er tea be brewed?
There are only two basic elements to brewing a good cup of Pu'er tea: 1. Water temperature——rolling boiling water; 2. Tea steeping time
Water temperature: The water temperature for Pu'er tea is best kept at 100°C. Isn't that easy? Unlike Longjing, which needs 85°C, or Biluochun, which needs 75°C, which are hard to control, Pu'er tea just needs the water to be completely boiled.
Tea steeping time: Discard the first and second brews, and drink from the third brew onward, but the steeping time for the third brew can be shorter, such as 10-20 seconds; the steeping time for the fourth brew is slightly longer than the third, such as 30-40 seconds, and so on. The more times it is brewed, the lighter the tea liquid becomes, so the steeping time can be made longer.
Specific steps:
1. Put the Pu'er tea leaves into the filter cup, 5 to 10 grams (depending on how strong you like your tea; use more for strong, less for weak);
2. Pour freshly boiled water into the filter cup, covering the tea leaves;
3. After a moment, take out the filter cup and discard the first brew;
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3, and discard the second brew;
5. Pour in boiling water a third time, covering the tea leaves, put on the cup lid, and let it sit for about 20 seconds;
5. Open the cup lid and invert it, take out the filter cup, let the tea liquid drip off slightly, and place it inside the cup lid.
6. Done, a cup of fragrant, rich and mellow Pu'er tea is brewed.
7. While enjoying it, do not forget the tea leaves in the filter cup, and never throw them away; Pu'er is very resistant to many infusions. When you have finished the first cup, you can put the filter cup back into the teacup, pour in water again in the same way, cover it, let it sit for a while, and the second cup of Pu'er is brewed.
