1. What is China's national flower now? Is it the peony?

China has not yet officially designated a national flower.

We all know the peony as the “king of flowers,” so it is often assumed to be the national flower.

The plum blossom is the gentleman among flowers, and because it does not fear the severe cold and blooms in winter, some people mistakenly believe that the plum blossom is China's national flower.
