How to grow soybean sprouts hydroponically? These 4 little tips are worth a try
Soybeans are a legume we come into contact with regularly in daily life, and I believe you've probably already stored quite a few at home, right? So how are these useful legume plants grown? Let's take this opportunity to explain how to quickly grow soybean sprouts hydroponically. The specific growing method is as follows:
1. Little tip one for hydroponic soybean sprouts
Before using the hydroponic method, you should first select some plump soybeans. As for why they should be fairly plump, I'm sure there's no need for me to explain that here. After selecting the seeds, find a container, fill it with warm water, and then put the soybeans or mung beans you picked into the warm water. After soaking for about half a day, pour out all the warm water.
2. Little tip two for hydroponic soybean sprouts
Soaking them in warm water is mainly meant to help the soybeans absorb enough moisture. Then choose a container, place a paper towel inside it, put the soybeans on the paper towel, and cover the soybeans with another paper towel. Place it in a ventilated and warm spot, add an appropriate amount of water depending on the moisture level, and wait a few days; you'll find that the soybeans or mung beans have already sprouted.
3. Little tip three for hydroponic soybean sprouts
Besides the method described above, there is another method. To use this method, first blanch the soybeans or mung beans with fairly hot water; the temperature should ideally reach 80°C. After blanching for a while, put the soybeans or mung beans into a ceramic jar; at this point you need to choose a ceramic jar with a lid.
4. Little tip four for hydroponic soybean sprouts
Once everything is ready, you can add hot water to the soybeans or mung beans about every 6 hours; at this point the water temperature you choose should be 40°C. You also need to make sure the ceramic jar you choose has drainage holes. Just water it, and after about 2 days, you'll be surprised to find that the soybeans and mung beans have already sprouted. In fact, although this method makes it relatively easy for soybeans or mung beans to sprout, there is one limitation: when selecting the soybeans, you must wash your hands thoroughly, and at this time your hands must not touch greasy things or soap, etc.
Getting soybeans or mung beans to sprout is actually a very simple thing; both methods described above make it easy for them to sprout. Friends who want to grow a few soybeans at home can refer to the methods I've described.
