Flower shiitake is a type of shiitake mushroom, long known as a“delicacy of the mountains”. Because it is meaty, keeps well and has high nutritional value, it is called the“plant queen”. Many people now cultivate it artificially as well, sohow much is flower shiitake per jin? What are the cultivation techniques?

1. Introduction to flower shiitake:

1. Where does flower shiitake come from?

There are many places where flower shiitake is produced. The main areas can be divided into four regions: Southeast (Fujian, Zhejiang), Central China (Hubei, Henan), Northeast (Liaoning, Jilin) and Southwest (Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan). Flower shiitake is the main economic source of the Central China region. In addition, many varieties of flower shiitake are mainly distributed in the Central China region, and secondarily in other provinces such as Shaanxi, Gansu, Heilongjiang, Anhui, Guangxi and Fujian.

2. What kinds of flower shiitake are there?

Flower shiitake is the top grade among shiitake mushrooms. According to quality, it is divided into three major categories: wild, wood-based artificially inoculated, and bag-cultivated. Each category is further divided into three types: flower shiitake, thick mushroom and flat mushroom, generally divided into three grades. Grade one is flower shiitake. Each flower shiitake is only as big as a copper coin, and the whole body is flowery. The mushroom is thick and plump, fresh and tender, with a rich aroma and a complete cap. It has white cracks tinged with light yellow, shaped like chrysanthemum petals. This is formed after the mushroom surface is frostbitten and then healed again under sunlight, so it is also called chrysanthemum mushroom.

2. What is the market price of flower shiitake per jin?

The market price of fresh flower shiitake is about 6 to 12 yuan per jin, and the market price of dried flower shiitake is about 60 to 150 yuan per jin. Prices naturally differ from place to place, so the exact price still needs to be checked at the local market.

3. What are the cultivation techniques for flower shiitake?

1. Mushroom shed construction, mushroom strain selection and cultivation time

For cultivating flower shiitake, ventilation is needed at all times. On flat terrain, the length of the high shelf in the mushroom shed is 2.4 m, and the width and height each need 6 m and 2.6 m; flower shiitake has just been planted and ages under long-term low temperature. The selection of a good flower shiitake strain is to choose a configured strain that can grow at a relatively low temperature. The average daily temperature is best 26 to 28 degrees. After meeting the mycelium growth requirement of 60 to 70 days, the bags become fully colonized, and after another 10 to 15 days there can be different color changes. Generally speaking, small flower shiitake can appear in November.

2. Preparing the culture material

Prepare the cultivation materials, preferably sawdust. Use a grinder to mix 2 kg monopotassium phosphate + 175 kg bran + 18 kg gypsum powder + 2 kg lime into a culture material. Use apple, pear, peach and other broadleaf tree tung oil branches, add the selected prepared culture medium + 2 kg lime powder, and turn and stir these nutrients 3 to 4 times. On the other hand, increase the sprayable mixture of the substrate, which can inhibit harmful bacterial fermentation.

3. Bagging and sterilization

Finish this within 6 to 7 hours. Place in a plastic vat and cover the ground with bags over a good nutrient polyethylene film, then put the tape in a sterile pressure tank and light the fire, while keeping the tank temperature at 70 degrees. Indoor inoculation needs to be delivered at 100°C within 4 to 6 hours.

4. Inoculating flower shiitake

Sometimes everyone chooses a good product and disinfects it before inoculation, leaving it for 7 to 10 days for inoculation. In a room with 0.5 km of sterile formaldehyde gas, open it for fumigation for 4 days. Inoculation should be carried out in the morning or evening.

5. Cultivation management

After inoculation, flower shiitake enters a sprouting state within 1 to 6 days, and no ventilation is needed. At this time, it is necessary to control the indoor temperature within only 28 degrees. For flower shiitake at 7 to 10 days, control the temperature below 26 degrees, and ventilate for 30 minutes each time. At 11 to 15 days of growth there is a strong demand for ventilation, and cultivation should be at a controlled temperature of 24 degrees. At no less than 16 to 20 days after inoculation, the fungus bags also reach 22 to 24 degrees; to prevent aging, the temperature must be controlled and ventilation and exhaust increased. The strain will cover the fungus bags at 45 days, and at 50 to 60 days when they bulge, attention must be paid to water drainage. The fruiting time is 60 to 70 days, and management of the transfer to the fruiting stage must be done well.

The above is an introduction to the market price and cultivation techniques of flower shiitake. I hope it is helpful to everyone.
