Risheng Pastry Company was founded in the 82nd year of the Republic of China (1993) and is located in Taipu Community, Gukeng Township, Yunlin County. Its founder, Brother Zhang Hexian, said that at the time he was originally working in Taipei, but because his mother had passed away, as the eldest son he took on the responsibility of caring for his elderly father and resigned from his stable job outside to return to his old home in Taipu, Gukeng, Yunlin. After returning home, by learning together with his younger brother, who was a chef at the time, how to make desserts, he gained different ideas and approaches, established Risheng Pastry Company, connected with many restaurant operators externally, and through continuous study enabled the enterprise to keep progressing and developing.

Because he grew up on this land from childhood, he naturally had many ideas and much passion for his hometown. During the community's past development process, he maintained a good relationship with the community, including becoming a community volunteer, providing the company's venue for the community to use in holding many experiential activities, and often providing many meals to the community free of charge. In this process, step by step, he gained the community's recognition, and now that he has become increasingly mature in community affairs, in the 106th year of the Republic of China (2017) he took over the community's affairs and became the chairman of the Taipu Community Development Association.

Finally, what the chairman wants to say is that Taipu Community has fine mountains and fine waters, but it is simply never boring. The reason people might find it boring is only that they have not found local experts to lead the way and help assist in planning the visiting itinerary. Whether now or in the future, Taipu Community is located just off the Douliu Interchange of National Highway No. 3, then along Provincial Highway No. 78, exiting at the Gukeng/Douliu Interchange and heading toward Gukeng. Along the way, besides being able to feel the beauty of Gukeng, you will also gradually feel as if you are entering another place of treasure hunting, and that is Taipu. Now that transportation is convenient, you can come for a different kind of experiential journey, and you can also come here to relax a little and experience the different scenery of the four seasons.
