1. Light
Wild orchids relatively prefer a cool environment. If the light is too strong it will affect the growth of wild orchids. But if there is not enough light, the flower color of wild orchids will be poor. So wild orchids cannot be exposed to blazing sun, but they also cannot be without light. You can place them somewhere with no direct sunlight but good ventilation.
2. Temperature
For wild orchids, temperatures that are too high or too low are both unfavorable for growth, so in summer you need to guard against heat. In winter you need to guard against cold, and not let the orchids freeze. When the temperature is below 0°C, you can put them somewhere a bit warmer.
3. Water
Although wild orchids like shady and damp weather, standing water is not acceptable. On this point there are requirements for the pot used for planting. You need a flower pot with holes in the bottom to help with drainage.
In summer, when the weather is hot, you need to water appropriately. But know when to stop: you cannot water too much or too little.
4. Nutrients
Outdoors, wild orchids generally grow in mountain forests and bamboo forests where there is a lot of fallen leaf litter. This kind of soil has a humus layer, and the soil is loose and airy, which is favorable for orchid growth.
