How much does black goji berry cost per jin, and how should it be cultivated artificially?
Black goji berry has always enjoyed the reputation of “soft gold.” Its yield is scarce, rare and precious, and it is the wild plant found so far with the highest proanthocyanidin content, so how much does black goji berry sell for per jin? How is it cultivated artificially?
1. How much does black goji berry sell for per jin?
The black goji berry fruit is spherical and purple-black. The ripe fruit is rich in purplish-red pigment and is a typical natural anthocyanin plant pigment resource. It is currently the most expensive goji berry variety on the international market.
The market price of black goji berry is still rather chaotic at present. We can see that goods quoted at 300-2000 yuan are all available on the market, and 2000 yuan is definitely not the high price for black goji berry. The best Nuomuhong black goji berry currently circulating on the market has been speculated up to at least more than 4000 yuan or even higher.
Of course, the high price of black goji berry is not only due to market speculation, but is also related to the small production area in our country, slow manual picking, high costs, and limited output.
2. How is black goji berry cultivated artificially?
1. Seed collection
Seed processing and seed storage: the seed collection period for black goji berry is from July to November. When the fruit turns from green to purple-black, it should be picked in time, registered immediately, and transported to the designated location. After seed collection, the seeds are washed and threshed by wrapping them in gauze, and then filtered and washed with a fine sieve. For drying, air-drying or drying in the morning and evening sun is used; exposure to strong sun is avoided. For seed cleaning, manual cleaning is used. After seed processing, store in fiber bags in a dry, ventilated place.
2. Land selection and land preparation
Choose land with flat terrain, convenient irrigation, fertile and thick soil, a pH value below 8, and a salt-alkali content not exceeding 0.3%. Apply 2000-3000 kg of barnyard manure per 667 sq m, deep-plow 20-30 cm in autumn, and water with winter water. In the following spring, shallow-plow and harrow finely, and make beds 1.2 m wide.
3. Sowing at the right time
Before sowing, soak the stored seeds in 40°C warm water for 24 h to increase the germination rate; the germination rate is generally about 90%. The sowing period is from late March to mid-April. For drilling, open furrows at a row spacing of 30 cm with a furrow depth of 0.5-1 cm. Mix the seeds with a little fine sand evenly, sow evenly into the furrows, cover lightly with fine sand, press lightly, then water, and keep the soil moist. Irrigate with a small amount of shallow water once every 1-2 d. At a temperature of 17-21, seedlings emerge in 5-7 d. The sowing rate is 1-1.5 kg per 667 sq m.
4. Field management
Scientific fertilization and irrigation can promote the rapid growth of black goji berry. When fertilizing, mainly use farmyard manure, and it is suitable to use 3000-4000 kg of decomposed farmyard manure per mu. Topdressing can be carried out in June and August each year. Generally, before irrigation, apply 15 kg of urea, 200 g of potassium dihydrogen phosphate, 25 kg of potassium sulfate, and 50 kg of superphosphate per mu. In the early growth stage of black goji berry, mainly nitrogen fertilizer is used, while in the later growth stage, mainly phosphorus fertilizer and potassium fertilizer are used.
Warm reminder: During the growth process of black goji berry, regular shaping and pruning must also be carried out to prevent excessive growth of branches and leaves from affecting its growth.
