Mushrooms are a common food on people's dining tables, delicious in taste and rich in nutritional value; they are a tasty green food and are deeply loved by the public. Today, the editor will share with you high-yield cultivation techniques for mushrooms.

1. Mushroom house preparation

When growing mushrooms, you need to prepare the construction of a mushroom house. A relatively common mushroom house nowadays is also built as a greenhouse. The mushroom house is generally chosen in a place with higher terrain, but overall it should be relatively flat, with a relatively open surroundings and good ventilation. The greenhouse should use scattered-light material, and the ground needs to be paved with cement so that it is convenient to wash. Inside the mushroom house, mushroom beds should be set up; they can be made of wood, iron, or brick. Finally, windows or rolling blinds should be left in place so as to enhance ventilation.

2. Compost preparation

The preparation of mushroom growing compost is also a very important step. The main components of the compost are livestock manure, wheat straw, bran, rice straw, corn stalks, and so on. Compost preparation generally starts in July. We need to dry the manure in the sun, cut the other materials, then mix in an appropriate amount of gypsum, soak it thoroughly with water or urine, and then pile it up in layers of one layer of straw material and one layer of manure for fermentation. Generally, it needs to be turned once every three or four days, and after about half a month it is almost ready.

3. Disinfection and sterilization

After the compost preparation is completed, we need to carry out a thorough disinfection and sterilization of the mushroom house, then move the compost into the mushroom house, spread it well on the mushroom beds, then close the doors and windows of the mushroom house, and raise the indoor temperature to about 60 degrees. After three hours, lower the temperature to about 50 degrees, and maintain this temperature for one week so that the compost ferments thoroughly. During this fermentation process, the compost can also be disinfected and sterilized, so that what remains in the compost are beneficial microorganisms, which is greatly beneficial to the growth of mushrooms.

4. Inoculation and casing soil

When the temperature of the compost drops to about 25 degrees, mushrooms can be inoculated. Level the compost on the mushroom beds; the thickness of the compost on each mushroom bed should reach about 15 cm. Inoculate by the hole-broadcasting method, with a spacing of about 10 cm between each plant. If you want to increase its mycelium growth speed, then you can sow as densely as possible. After inoculation, the humidity of the compost needs to be maintained, and the ventilation of the mushroom house should be increased. Finally, evenly cover the compost with fine fertile soil, and then wait for mycelium growth.

5. Fruiting management

Fruiting management is the most critical step in mushroom cultivation. It concerns the fruiting situation of mushrooms, that is, the yield and quality of mushrooms. Among these, the most important are water management and temperature management. We should maintain the humidity of the compost. In the early fruiting stage, the humidity is generally about 70 percent, and later it gradually returns to about 80 to 90 percent. When watering, follow the principle of small amounts and frequent watering. During the mycelium growth period, the temperature in the fruiting house is best kept at about 10 to 18 degrees. During the fruiting period, raise the temperature to about 20 to 28 degrees, which can accelerate the fruiting speed. When the mushrooms grow to a certain size, they can be harvested.
