Brother Zhang Hexian, founder of Risheng Dim Sum, originally worked in Taipei. After his mother passed away, as the eldest son he took on the responsibility of caring for his elderly father, so he resigned from his stable job and returned to his old home in Taipu, Gukeng, Yunlin. After returning to his hometown, he did not want to work as a factory operator like everyone else. At that time, his younger brother, who was a chef at a restaurant, taught him how to make desserts, and because of this he began making desserts and selling them to restaurants. Now Brother Zhang is not only a dessert expert, but also the current chairman of the Taipu Community Development Association.
