What precautions should be taken when using azoxystrobin? Keep these points in mind
The best time to apply is before flowering, after petal fall and during the young fruit stage. Avoid mixing with emulsifiable concentrate pesticides and organosilicon adjuvants. Apples and cherries are sensitive to this pesticide, so never use it on them; when spraying crops adjacent to apples and cherries, avoid pesticide droplet drift. To delay the development of resistance, it is recommended to rotate it with other fungicides that have different mechanisms of action. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid contact with this pesticide. It is forbidden to clean application equipment in rivers, ponds and other water bodies, to avoid polluting water sources.
Uses of azoxystrobin:
Azoxystrobin is a new type of high-efficiency, broad-spectrum, systemic fungicide. It can be used for stem and leaf spraying, seed treatment, and also soil treatment. It has good activity against diseases caused by almost all fungal classes (Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes, Oomycetes and Deuteromycetes), such as powdery mildew, rust, glume blotch, net blotch, downy mildew, rice blast and so on, and it has no cross-resistance with currently existing fungicides. It is used on cereals, rice, grapes, potatoes, vegetables, fruit trees and other crops.
How to use azoxystrobin:
Apply at the early stage of diseases such as downy mildew, early blight, anthracnose and leaf spot, using a 250 g/L azoxystrobin suspension diluted 1000-1500 times for stem and leaf spraying, once every 10 days, with a maximum of 3 applications per crop season. For details, refer to the pesticide label or instructions for use.
Functional characteristics of azoxystrobin:
1. Broad fungicidal spectrum: one pesticide treats multiple diseases, reducing the amount of pesticide used and lowering production costs
2. Increases disease resistance: less disease, vigorous growth, early emergence and rapid development, earlier market launch, higher selling price
3. Improves stress resistance: high yield even under poor climate conditions
4. Delays senescence: lengthens the harvest period, increases total yield, raises total returns
5. Long lasting effect: 15 days of special effect, reducing the number of applications, less agricultural residue in vegetables, selling more for a better price due to high quality
6. High efficiency and safety: strong systemic action and obvious penetration effect, naturally low toxicity, safe and pollution-free market conditions
